ProjektRed aims to tackle the concerning and prevalent issue of womens safety in an environment where despite advancements, women continue to face significant safety risks and challenges in their daily lives. Features-1. Real-Time Location Tracking: Our users can choose to share an SOS Alert and their real-time location with all their trusted contacts in ONE CLICK. We envision a world where women can confidently navigate their daily lives, knowing that a support network is just a tap away.2. Safehouse: We aspire to establish a network of safe spaces across cities, creating a refuge for women in distress. These Safehouses will serve as havens where they can seek assistance, find safety, and receive support when needed. Users can also participate and register safehouses which would be visible on the map after they are verified.3. Safe Maps: Our vision for Safe Maps is to redefine the way women move through their cities. We aim to transform ordinary maps into guides that highlight well-lit, well-populated routes, ensuring that women can make informed choices about their travel, reducing risks, and enhancing their sense of security.4. Mental Health Awareness: Beyond physical safety, we envision a society where women’s mental well-being is prioritized. “ProjektRED” will continue to evolve as a platform that not only offers resources but fosters a community of support, where women can freely discuss their mental health concerns, access guidance, and find solace.5. Identifying and Uploading Details about Eve-Teasing Incidents: Our vision extends to creating a culture of accountability and change. We envision a community of users who actively contribute to identifying and reporting eve-teasing incidents. Through the power of collective awareness, we strive to bring about a transformation in societal attitudes towards harassment.6. Record Video, Audio, and Click Photos: Projekt Red is equipped with features that enable users to quickly record and store media when they choose to do so.7. Fake Call: Users can simulate a "fake call" on their devices in case they need to do so in any distressed situation.8. Easy access to SOS services: Users can see the location of nearby hospitals and police stations in one click. They can also access numerous help lines hosted on the app.There are many more features thoughtfully designed for the safety of the apps users, and it is our effort to continue to build and provide features that bolster this initiative.
